Geneva has established itself as a home for important international organisations and European banks. The vast Palace of Nations is one of the most prominent offices of the UN globally – it's thought to hold over 10,000 meetings each year. On top of that, you've got the World Trade Organization, the World Health Organization, the Red Cross – there are loads. The city is nothing short of a forum and meeting place for all humankind.

If you need to catch a charter flight to Geneva for business, there's so much to see and do. Plaintive walks in the Vieille Ville (Old Town) reveal postcard streets of cobblestone and echoing plazas festooned with alpine flowers. Talking of the alpine…the mountains and the water are right on the doorstep. Break away to the north shore of Lake Geneva, and wineries are rolling down to small lido beaches. Go to the south shore, and you'll find the foothills of the Alps, which soon cross into France and give way to famous ski fields like Les Gets and Megève.
